Craig D. Fishman M.D.
Craig D. Fishman, M.D., received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University. After earning his medical degree at New York University, Dr. Fishman completed his ophthalmology residency at Emory University, where he was chief resident. The board-certified doctor is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
Dr. Fishman performs cataract and glaucoma surgeries, and laser treatment. Patients appreciate his support and compassion, which stems from a family history. The ophthalmologist confides: “My grandfather went blind from glaucoma and my grandmother had macular degeneration.”
Jeffrey A. Sheridan M.D.
Jeffrey A. Sheridan, M.D., is a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and is an active fellow with the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He served as a general ophthalmologist with the United States Air Force before joining Fishman & Sheridan eyeCare Specialists.
Dr. Sheridan attended Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, completed his internship at the University of Hawaii, and finished his residency at Emory University, Department of Ophthalmology. A board-certified ophthalmologist, he specializes in cataract surgery and glaucoma treatment. He also performs eyelid surgery for facial rejuvenation and does the majority of the eyelid reconstruction operations for our patients who have had skin cancer.
Like all of our eye doctors, Dr. Sheridan is readily available for patients in Leesburg, Eustis, and Clermont. Dr. Sheridan not only is one of the few ophthalmologists in Lake County to volunteer at a local free clinic to help those in need of eye care but has also has taken his surgical skills on a missionary trip to treat villagers in Mozambique, Africa.

Originally from Brazil, Dr. Munguba earned his medical degree from the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, and began his career in Orlando. He is fluent in English and Portuguese and can communicate effectively in Spanish, ensuring that language barriers do not stand in the way of providing excellent care. Dr. Glenn Pieschke completed his pre-medical training at St. Petersburg Junior College and the University of South Florida, Tampa, earning his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. With over 37 years of experience, he has practiced optometry in Central Florida for 20 years and Fort Myers, FL for 17 years.
A proud veteran, Dr. Pieschke retired from the USAFR after serving four years of active duty in the Military Police and 19 years at Patrick AFB, FL, as the Chief Reserve Optometrist. Born in Youngstown, OH, he is married with two grown children. Outside of his practice, he is a lifelong athlete, competing in weightlifting, bodybuilding, triathlons, and enjoys road and drag racing.
